Austin!

I have really been slacking on the blog posts lately, and for that I apologize! Things in the Acton household have been extremely crazy, especially the last 72 hours. Our small family is getting ready to make the biggest transition of our lives thus far--we are moving to Austin. This is something we have been thinking and praying about for quite sometime, and now everything is falling in to place. Damon and I have both accepted positions in the area, and we will be moving in the next three weeks.

We both have mixed emotions about the move. While we are excited to begin this new phase in our life, it will still be bittersweet. We will have to say bye to to our first home where we have created so many memories. We will have to say bye to our wondeful co-workers who have become our friends. And the hardest thing of all, we will have to say "see you later" to our amazing families. It will be a huge adjustment, but it won't be anything we cannot handle. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13 will most likely be our theme for the coming weeks and months. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we begin this incredible journey.
